Rob is a qualified Mental Health First Aid Professional and Instructor, a certified NeuroChange Practitioner and a Resilience trainer.
He is also a highly sought after public speaker, having delivered his own TEDx Talk on the topic of men’s mental health in 2017.
In addition, Rob is also a professional actor (Rob Mitchell-James) with appearances in Ridley, Peaky Blinders, COBRA, Emmerdale and Coronation Street.
Experience: Rob has a successful 20-year corporate career, working at board level in some of the UK’s leading tech businesses. After a direct experience of burnout, Rob took a decision to re-direct his career to become a coach and trainer.
Sectors: Rob now works closely with C-Suite executives and senior leadership teams across a wide variety of industry sectors, to raise mental health awareness, build resilience, enhance communication and facilitate change.
Specific interests: Rob has gained a thorough and intimate understanding of the importance of a mentally and physically healthy workplace. He is passionate about mental health, emotional intelligence, resilience, recovery and effective communication.

Top Tips for Managing Stress: There are two important elements to managing stress. Awareness and responsibility. Firstly, we need to be aware of the impact that stress is having on us. Your body is the best compass you have for this. Listen to it and it will tell you. Then, once you are aware, take some degree of self-responsibility. Prescribe for yourself, plenty of time for self-care, rest and recovery.
