Adult Mental Health First Aid Course Wolverhampton

Our next open 2 day Mental Health First Aid course will be taking place on Thursday 22nd March and Friday 23rd March 2018. To register your interest, please email info@altruistuk.com, stating your name, role and organisation.

Day 1: Thursday 22nd March 2018

Day 2: Friday 23rd March 2018

Time: 9:30am - 4:00pm

Location: Paycare House, George St, Wolverhampton WV2 4DX

Cost: £250 per delegate

The course will teach participants to:

  • Spot the early signs of stress and mental health problems
  • Prevent mental health problems from getting worse
  • Feel confident in helping someone experiencing a problem in the first instance
  • Guide someone towards the right support
  • Create an open forum where stress and mental well-being problems can be discussed

Katie attended the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy where she set up Altruist in 2013. Since then, Katie has won various awards including Birmingham Mail's Young Achiever of the Year 2017, New Entrepreneurs Foundation 'Future Face of Business' and Entrepreneurial Spark's 'Most Accelerated Business'. She has also been a finalist in nine other award categories and in 2014, Katie was invited to attend the prestigious 'Women of the Year Lunch' in honour of her work raising awareness and reducing the stigma attached to mental health.
