Adult Mental Health First Aid Course Birmingham

Our next public 2 day Mental Health First Aid course will be taking place on Tuesday 18th September and Wednesday 19th September 2018 in central Birmingham. To register your interest, please email info@altruistuk.com, stating your name, role and organisation.

Day 1: Tuesday 18th September

Day 2: Wednesday 19th September

Time: 9:30am - 4:00pm each day

Location: iCentrum, 6 Holt Street, Birmingham, B7 4BP

Cost: £250 per delegate

The course will teach participants to:

  • Spot the early signs of stress and mental health problems
  • Prevent mental health problems from getting worse
  • Feel confident in helping someone experiencing a problem in the first instance
  • Guide someone towards the right support
  • Create an open forum where stress and mental well-being problems can be discussed

Katie attended the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy where she set up Altruist in 2013.
