Our SMHL refresher training enables your setting’s Senior Mental Health Lead to renew skills, update their knowledge of whole school approach best practice and review and implement their continued action plan.

Course Objectives

The 4-hour Senior Mental Health Lead Refresher Training will enable you to:

Update your knowledge of wellbeing and mental health best practice.
Review your school or college’s action plan and take steps to further develop and implement your whole school approach.
Share learning and gain feedback from peers.

Course Learning Outcomes

The learning outcomes align with Public Health England's eight principles for promoting children and young people's emotional health and wellbeing. The course complements existing frameworks in education.
