General information

Our prices are competitive and include all course materials and certificates for successful candidates.

Course fees and invoicing

Invoices are sent electronically to the finance email address provided by you on the training booking form. Payment is due fourteen calendar days after the date of the invoice.

We accept payment by cheque or BACS. All cheques should be made payable to:

Confirmation of booking

All bookings must be confirmed in writing or via email at least 28 days prior to course commencement date.

Once we have processed your booking, we will send you a confirmation email and an invoice.

Late bookings may be accepted if there is availability.


Client cancellation with:

More than 28 calendar days notice - If you notify Altruist Enterprises in writing (via letter or email) or over the telephone up to 4 weeks (28 days) before the start date of a course, an administration fee of £40 + VAT will be invoiced.

Up to and including 28 calendar days notice - If you withdraw for whatever reason within the 28 day period, the full fee will remain payable even if you are unable to nominate a substitute attendee.

Substitutions should be received by Altruist Enterprises at least 72 hours prior to the course start date.


If you fail to attend the course on which you are booked and have not given prior notice to Altruist Enterprises, then the course fee will remain payable in full and no transfer will be allowed.

Start time

Our usual start time for face to face and online instructor-led courses is 9.30am. Late arrivals may not be able to complete the course if they have missed sufficient material.


An A4 certificate is included in the course fee.

All certificates of attendance are sent electronically following completion of a course.

All Mental Health First Aid course certificates are produced and delivered electronically by MHFA England.

E-learning Courses

For self-guided E-learning courses purchased via altruist.thinkific.com or reed.co.uk, we provide a 14 day cooling off period following your order.


Altruist Enterprises cannot be held responsible for any circumstances outside of our control which may affect our ability to fulfil our commitment to you such as adverse weather conditions, earth quakes, war, any changes in legislation after the contract was entered in to etc. In the case of any such unforeseen circumstances, Altruist Enterprises will make every reasonable effort to make alternative arrangements.

Altruist Enterprises does not accept liability for any accidents or misuse of training carried out by any delegates after they have completed the course.

Please note that we reserve the right to change our prices and our terms and conditions with reasonable written notice to customers unless required to do so by law in which case changes may be made without prior notice.
