Jo has over 22 years experience working in Mental Health
Experience: Jo has a background in careers guidance where she supported people with mental ill-health to develop a meaningful occupation. She has been a qualified Mental First Aid Instructor for the past 14 years and has experience delivering training to a range of individuals and organisations including, nursing, police, fire brigade, housing and social services.
Sectors: Jo has a keen interest in workplace mental health. She has worked with companies within the financial sector and manufacturing. Jo has also worked in Public Health from within the NHS and Local Authority. This included working with businesses to manage stress in the workplace, commissioners to provide services and community stakeholders to manage their services.
Specific interests: Jo has also trained as a Integrative Counsellor and works clinically alongside her training deliver. She is particularly interested in developmental psychology, neuroscience and the impact upon the human ability to relate.
